So far, in 2023 I’ve gotten rid of at least one box full of things I don’t use or need every week. It feels good to look for areas to remove the clutter, extra and over abundance we’ve accumulated in our lives.
As I approach new spaces, the work seems endless, yet by doing just one box each week I’ve removed the push in the job. I can fill a box pretty easily in a limited amount of time, notice small changes, and release the stuff of life with joy.
When I’ve approached projects like this as a full day or weekend thing, I fatigue, resent it, delay doing it, and hesitate to commit again.
Consistent action adds up and feels good. It doesn’t matter what the task is, when broken down to manageable pieces, it becomes an affirmation of progress.
Where could you reduce the scope and win?
