Like many people, I feel reflective toward the end of the year and 2016 is no different. Taking the time to think about the year, both personally and professionally, gives me great clarity and informs my intentions for the coming year. As I get older, I more deeply appreciate my relationships and what people mean to me. Having lost my father this year, it’s offered an opportunity to be introspective of my parents’ role in shaping who I am and how I operate in the world, of which I’m proud.
I am grateful for you, our friends, and clients whom we consider friends, and I already look forward to celebrating with you in 2017 at our Client Appreciation Party (coming in August!). I am grateful to our partners who support us in doing our work and staying on track. I am grateful for our terrific YESS! team. The end of 2016 and beginning of 2017 is also bringing change to our YESS! team. Cheryl is retiring and will travel to warm destinations throughout the winter. We will miss her greatly as she’s ensured our consistency and excellence for years, however we’re so excited for her to enjoy her time with family and friends. Sarah is stepping fully into Cheryl’s shoes beginning in 2017 and Dan has joined our growing team as a Certified EOS Implementer to increase our capacity while serving clients well – they are both incredible additions! We are excited and also humbled by all the work we do. As we do the work we love, with people we love, making a difference in this world, being compensated fairly with time left over to pursue other passions, we are indeed grateful for the EOS life we live and share.
Clarity and time go hand-in-hand, and as business executives we are often short on one if not both. In this month’s newsletter I discuss The Clarity Break™ and how setting aside time to simply think brings great clarity to you and your business. Carla Anderson is our feature in the article “The Gift of Time,” where she shares how she gives that gift to others and helps them find clarity in their next career.
I hope this newsletter inspires you to give the gift of time to yourself and others this coming year. I wish you a wonderful holiday season and thank you so much for being a part of the YESS! community. We look forward to learning with you and deepening our partnership into 2017 and beyond!
