Have you ever thought successful people looked, well a bit crazy, certainly obsessive?
This is because if you want to make it, to achieve something extraordinary, you must do the work like others can’t, won’t or don’t.
Doing the work as a hobby won’t cut it in the world of success. There is most certainly reward in having a hobby or several, just don’t confuse the joy and passion of a hobby with what it takes to be excellent.
Wanting something isn’t enough. Working hard isn’t enough. You must be willing to do the things others aren’t and stand out in your work ethic as well as your passion. The combination is the secret.
And just about when you’re ready to quit, it’s time to double down. Especially during a pandemic, during an election year working remotely. It’s time to double down because success is born out of tough times.
