When there is a conflict between two people, it’s always about who is “right.”

What if you both are?

What if you sorted the facts, found common ground, and discussed how to proceed forward together to find the best outcome for everyone, not anyone?

I know, we don’t make it that simple. Yet it is that simple once we remove ourselves from the emotional experience of it.

If we make the point of our conversation to get it* right (*the best possible solution for everyone involved) over having to be right, things elevate to the best possible answer or solution.
