I ran across this quote, and it made me pause.
Really, this is all that ever happens with regard to our expectations.
It could be the weather, our own or other people’s behavior, the issues in the news or politics and how we coordinate actions every day.
Every shattered expectation is an opportunity to get closer to our hearts and respond with kindness instead of the alternatives.
My heart is mine to tend to, doing so with care and intention is always the best choice.
It’s called taking responsibility.
