Change. Many of us have decided it comes with a new year.
We move to 2021 and are renewed after time off, perspective gaining and a slower pace following celebrations. This year was different for many of us.
What’s needed to create lasting change is new perspective.
Perhaps the time off, slower pace and time to reflect is actually what buoys our commitment to things differently. If we believed that, what would we do differently to protect our time, strategically building in hours, days or weeks away from work to refresh, renew and recalibrate.
Remember the tortoise and the hare?
Your “resolutions” will only materialize if you persist in gaining perspective on what’s been in the way and what you need to succeed. Slow incremental change will result in sustainable habits. Sweeping change is most often fleeting with often poorer results on the other side.
