The San Francisco 49ers were up 10 points in the Superbowl with just 10 minutes to play. The statistics said the game was as good as theirs. Only it wasn’t.
In the last 10 minutes of the game, the Kansas City Chiefs came back to win the game against the odds. What’s the difference?
In the final minutes, one team played as if winning was a sure thing, a guarantee. The other team played as if the time left on the clock was what would determine the game; regardless of the odds they faced.
While there’s time on the clock, you need to play like it matters, even if the odds are against you.
