What does it mean to be intentional?
One of the definitions is to be “done on purpose.”
Asking the question about how much you do “on purpose” is an interesting one. Some people answer quickly with of course, however, when you slow to hear the verbiage, it begs the question, what is your purpose?
I was in a workshop recently exploring purpose and the leader asked participants if we knew our purpose. My hand was the only one raised in the crowd of 100+. When he asked if it was personal or professional, I told him I had both. He asked me to share, and I did.
He offered that in his experience it was rare for someone to have both.
For me, assessing whether I’m living on purpose is paramount to my joy, success and experience in life.
It’s easier when I do things “on purpose.”
I need to pause, reflect and realign to my purpose in business and life to ensure I’m on the path to Intentional Greatness®, or it won’t happen.
