Because I travel quite a bit, I find myself with Uber drivers with frequency.
I don’t always engage in conversation; however, I’ve found many (30% +) of the drivers to be quite philosophical.
If you’ve ever found yourself with a wise driver, it makes for a much faster and engaging experience going from point A to point B.
This past week, three of us had the pleasure of listening to Mohammed who had the most optimistic view of the USA, Americans, and Minnesota as well. It was refreshing to hear how positively he shared a perspective filled with optimism, hope, and fresh perspective.
We arrived at the airport grateful and inspired.
It reminds me to take every opportunity to listen; deep conversations are waiting everywhere.
There are no throw away moments.
