Take the chance.
In a world where talent is hard to find, it’s worthwhile to pay attention.
I ordered from the grocery delivery service today and the person who took my order and brought it to my home was fast, efficient and didn’t ask questions. From the time I ordered to groceries delivered to my door, it was under an hour.
When customer service happens, it gets my attention these days.
I walked out to greet her and had a brief conversation letting her know how much I appreciated the speed and ease. She brushed it off, but I asked her if she was looking for a job.
After our conversation, I was even more intrigued and so was she.
We talked and agreed it was a serendipitous connection.
I don’t know if we’ll work together, but our conversation was no accident.
I’m excited and hopeful. You miss 100% of the opportunities you don’t go after. I’m so glad I asked her to connect!
Sometimes, the opportunities literally come to your front door if you’re willing to act.
