It’s All Perspective #1760

Published on December 19, 2025 Written by

Looking at what’s between today and tomorrow can make us feel like we have a deficit.  We don’t – it’s perceived lack based on what’s possible and that’s a big thing.  Looking at what’s between today and our past can make us feel like we’re winning.   A healthy balance of both is necessary to keep the equilibrium for a healthy attitude.

Time for Nothing #1759

Have you ever felt like you’re “off,” but you can’t put your finger on why or what exactly is “off?” I sure have. Typically, when this happens, I’m running too fast, my calendar is packed (maybe even more than usual), and I have no space or time to think. Life seems transactional, simply moving from one thing to another.  When this occurs, if you… View Article

Small Acts #1758

Published on December 17, 2025 Written by

Small acts. These are the most significant things we do.   Though we’d like to believe it’s the big, challenging, difficult things, it’s not. It’s the consistent small, thoughtful, kind gestures that matter most.  It’s when you receive the note, text, or call that says, “I was just thinking of you.”  It’s the person who calls to listen…fully.   It’s the ride when you need it, the errands… View Article

Be Spontaneous #1757

Published on December 16, 2025 Written by

I like to plan and be efficient. When I look at my actions and patterns, I’m driven to consistently improve and simplify those things I repeatedly do.  When Kevin and I travel, we plan things and enjoy our time together regardless.  Yet, when I reflect on the most memorable, vibrant and enjoyable times in my life, they were almost always spontaneous.   We wake up with no intended plans, begin with… View Article

The Sprint is Here #1756

Published on December 15, 2025 Written by

Q4 is here and officially in full swing. The year-end sprint filled with holidays, deadlines, and overcommitment has arrived.   It’s easy to wonder where the time has gone – it seems like April was just yesterday. It’s also easy to get caught in the illusion that we have more time. We don’t. The unexpected always… View Article

Your Filter #1755

Published on December 12, 2025 Written by

I’m asking myself a question these days which moves me in much more certain directions. It’s become the mantra I need at this time in my life and in business.  The question is clarifying. It helps me say “no” much more confidently.   Saying no has created space and confidence as more and more situations are… View Article

Two Questions #1754

Published on December 11, 2025 Written by

Life is full of surprises, and most times, things don’t go as planned.   How do we find resilience when we’re attached to the plan and it’s not happening as we’d like?  Try this simple approach using two key questions: “So what? Now what?”  “So What?” asks that we don’t let the changes or setbacks define… View Article

Do You Believe? #1753

Published on December 10, 2025 Written by

As I reflect on profound wisdom I heard in a recent discussion, I’m reminded again of the power of believing in ourselves. Without self-belief, our dreams become hopes with no action behind them, and we never take the risks that lead to growth.  To excel in business, life, and really anything, we must first trust… View Article

Being Remembered #1752

Published on December 9, 2025 Written by

The quote “live the way you want to be remembered” got my attention today.   What if we all were on this page?  How would my actions differ from what I’m currently doing? What would I focus on? What would it mean to those around me?  What if I truly considered life as a tragedy? In… View Article

Don’t Wait #1751

Published on December 8, 2025 Written by

Leaving things incomplete wastes energy.   Think about it. When something is unfinished, you ruminate on it. Whether it’s a conversation, a puzzle, a task or a project, your mind and your actions wander back to it over and over. Your energy is trapped, as is your momentum.   When you’re incomplete, you can’t move on. Not… View Article
